Play Date

We had the pleasure of having our friends Sydney and Wiley spend the day with us on Saturday. Their parents said they had a wonderful afternoon away but I think we had way more fun! Here are a few photo's from our fabulous pool party/play date.

Wiley, Sydney and Campbell begging me to take the photo already so they can get in the pool and start to play.
1.......2...........3...........SPLASH!

The water was cold but it did not seem to stop these little fish from getting all wet.

Sydney showed Campbell how to make beautiful art work with side walk chalk. This was just one of the gorgeous masterpieces.
Wiley on the other hand was working on how to make a little extra cash next summer and helped Uncle Steve cut the lawn with the bubble mower. Wiley, let me know what your rates are next year....do I get a discount if I provide the bubbles?

The rain came but that did not stop us from continuing the party. Popsicle's anyone?

We moved the festivities inside for a little movie and popcorn.

What good would a play date be without an old fashion tickle fest.

As you can see everyone had a wonderful time and we can't wait to do it again soon. Thanks guys for a great day!

Climbing Monkey

Our little monkey has decided that climbing is fun. She started climbing up stairs and sliding down them on her belly. She then started climbing up on the couch to sit next to you and read a book. I recently found her standing in the middle of the coffee table she had climbed up. This was her expression when she got caught.

Vacation

We went on vacation!

Last week we rented a cottage with Steve's brother PJ and his family. We were on Dickerson lake which happens to be the same lake the two of them had a cottage on and spent there summers as kids. We now know why they loved it so much, we had a blast. We did lots of relaxing, floating and playing in the lake.

Daddy gave Campbell a few pointers on driving the boat.

Then decided to have a little fun on his own racing the boat.

The fish were biting which made for some great fishing.

Nice catch Aunt Sarah.

Uncle PJ caught one THIS BIG.

A few days were a little cloudy so we went to a petting farm that had a zebra. Campbell loved the zebra.

It also had a train which made cousin Mav very happy.

My favorite was the baby donkey. How cute is he?

We did get a little rain while we were there but that did not stop us from having fun. Welcome to the huggies vs. pampers bumper car derby.

These handy diaper boxes also make a great train.

I even tried a little water skiing while we were there.

As you can see by the smiles on all our faces we had a terrific time at the lake.
