Cool Trick

Well with all the snow and temps below zero we have not been going outside as much as we would like to. We have been locked up in the house trying to keep ourselves entertained. I came downstairs the other day to find Steve teaching Campbell a cool new trick. I will let the photos speak for themselves, lets just say we are soooo ready for spring.

Let it Snow, Let it Snow

Well the holiday's are over and we have had snow since Thanksgiving so I am pretty much over it and ready for spring. Campbell on the other hand is loving it and very excited each morning when we look outside and there is more snow to play in. Here are some pictures of the last few days of playtime in the snow.

It's never to early to teach them how to shovel.

Sledding is lots of fun even when it just being pulled around the backyard.

Our very first snow angel.

Campbell requested Auntie Annie make a snow angel also.

Auntie Annie teaching Campbell how to catch snow flakes on her tongue. She now giggles when she gets one and then licks her lips as if it was very tasty.

So as far as Campbell is concerned it can snow all it wants.

December Catch-up

Well it's been a while since our last post but after you read all that we have been doing I think you will understand why we have been a little busy.

I will start off where we left off in mid December. We had our big family holiday party with all the Aunts and Uncles and Cousins on the 14th. Boy did we have a great time, with all the kids there and the car load of toys we brought home you can only imagine how much fun Campbell had. Just look at all these adorable faces, can you believe we got them all to sit still for a picture. Maybe it was the fact that we said no opening of presents until we get a few photo's...works every time.

The next day was the 15th and it was Grandpa's birthday. After opening all those great gifts from the Aunts, Uncle's and Cousins the day before she was more then happy to help Grandpa open his gifts. I have to say she did not seem as excited to see shoes, shirts and socks in Grandpa's boxes as she was the day before when it was Dora and Magnadoodles.

On the 20th we went to or friend Nora and John's annual holiday party and had a wonderful time. Some of our friends we don't get to see all the time where there so it was so fun to catch up with everyone.

After the 20th comes the 21st and Auntie Ann's Birthday. Campbell was again more then willing to jump in and open presents for everyone. I think she has had plenty of practice and is ready for the big guy in red to come.

Christmas was right around the corner and Campbell helped me get dinner ready for Christmas eve.

Christmas morning was lots of fun this year because Campbell was so excited to open and play with all her wonderful presents. Here are a few photos of the big day.

She was very excited to see that Grandpa had gotten her the 101 Dalmatian movie........

and 101 Dalmatian puppies to go with it. WOW!

She also spent a good part of the day taking her new bear from Auntie Ann for rides in her new stroller from Grandpa. We now need to do some touch up painting around the house where the stroller has run into the walls, we are working on the steering. A special thank you to Aunt Jan who made Campbell her very special dress she wore on Christmas day! We were told the fabric used is called Campbell plaid, how cool is that.

On the 27th we went to Nora and John's house to celebrate a little more with the kids and Nora's parents before we went to the Michigan State basketball game. Campbell got her first tea set and had her first tea party with Sydney and Wiley. We have had a tea party everyday since. She also discovered the joy of playing dress up and wears Sydney's Tinkerbell costume everyday also.

Daddy and Campbell watching the Sparty's win their game.

As you can see we had a very busy but very fun December and Christmas. We hope you had a great holiday season also and we wish all our family and friends a wonderful New Year!
